Resumo
To situate the work of the Polish sociologist Zygmunt Bauman within the sociological concert is to have in mind a prolific work that spans more than three decades of intellectual production. During this time, the sociologist did not stay out of the social tensions or the discussions that structure sociological thought, but rather took a position in defense of society and the subject regarding the various vicissitudes that undermine its foundations.
