The relationship between transformational leadership and organizational commitment, a strategic approach

The purpose of this article is to perform a bibliographic review that allows to uncover the mechanism through which the behaviors of a transformational leader influence organizational commitment. In the first stage, the development of different leadership theories is revealed, in which the importance of contemporary theories, especially transformational leadership theory, is highlighted. Hence the importance of organizational commitment and finally its relationship to transformational leadership.
