Résumé

he night between November 15 and 16, 2014 , Serge Moscovici (1925-2014), undoubtedly one of the great thinkers of the social sciences and humanities in the last century, died in the city of Paris at the age of 89. , whose influence was felt in the wide range of disciplines that study the human being and society, especially within the fields of social psychology and epistemology. In part, we owe the name of our magazine Culture and Social Representations to his contribution on the theory of social representations. This intellectual personality received numerous recognitions and awards during his lifetime, and his prolific work became one of the essential collections for scholars of the social and human sciences.
