Resumen
The COVID-19 pandemic has posed an unprecedented challenge to various sectors around the world, and universities and their entrepreneurial ecosystems have been particularly hard hit. However, many universities have demonstrated the ability to adapt and transform to overcome this crisis and even achieve entrepreneurship under the new circumstances. This research examines the key success factors that enabled universities to foster and develop entrepreneurship during the COVID-19 pandemic, based on the findings of relevant research and studies. The research utilizes a historical descriptive analysis of previous studies, presenting a model based on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. The research reached a set of conclusions, the most important of which are: Research confirms that universities that have succeeded in achieving entrepreneurship during the pandemic are those that have taken the initiative to adopt and adapt their strategies to suit the new reality. Among the most prominent success factors extracted are accelerating the pace of digital transformation and embracing digital entrepreneurship: The pandemic imposed a heavy reliance on digital solutions. Universities that already possessed or were quick to develop a robust digital infrastructure, including virtual education and training platforms and remote working tools, were better prepared to support entrepreneurial activities.
