Economic failure in Iraq

Abstract

The research focuses on the most important causes of triple economic failure: poverty, unemployment and corruption, which go back to the years before 2003, such as Iraq, despite its efforts to ensure the economic and social well-being of its citizens, but the (external) factors played an important role and affected the comprehensive development process, especially after 2003, Which clearly saw three economic failures. This requires extraordinary efforts to improve the level of Iraqi economic performance for all parties, especially political parties, in achieving a rate of improvement in the standard of living of their citizens in order to stop the deterioration of economic failure and thus the rise in various indicators of social protection.
