Beauty, pleasure and suffering : reflections on body and gender among the Nahua of the Sierra Norte de Puebla

Some dimensions of gender relations are analyzed from the representations of the sexualized human body among the Nahuas of the Cuetzalan region, in the Sierra Norte de Puebla, starting from the xochipitsaua , poetry-music-dance typical of indigenous weddings.
