Indigenous knowledge and intercultural dialogue

We address the discussion about how science has dealt with knowledge that is considered "non-scientific", and although certain disciplines have made great contributions by showing the ideologization of science and relativizing Western science, the fact remains that that indigenous knowledge has not been recognized as forms and methods of knowledge with which it is possible to dialogue horizontally, without the so-called scientific disciplines imposing the methods of validation and selection of knowledge. The debate then moves towards the epistemological status of the so-called indigenous, traditional or local knowledge, compared to the status of scientificity and rationality that protects the set of knowledge generated from the different disciplines
