Résumé

The study on the subject of gender became important to the sociology of the world with the feminist movement and even then the social inequality between men and women did not contain any concern among its theorists. The gender variable has nothing to do with including social loss. In those considered, the goal was not to explain their relationships with other variables, but rather that they justify motherhood, prejudices, and the role in the domestic sphere or children's socialization.

In fact, it is a matter of averaging what constitutes heterosexual relations, what role men and women play in a given society in relation to the other and members of the opposite sex. The participation of women in economic activity has seen a rise in most countries of the world in recent years, and a series of factors such as: outsourcing of the economy, democratization of pocup due to women's access to education, flexibility of productive structures, among others.
