The Use of Technology in Paranormal Investigations: A Case Study from South Africa

Published 2021-07-16

Abstract

This research focuses on the use of technology in paranormal investigations within South Africa. It examines how tools such as electromagnetic field meters, infrared cameras, and audio recording devices are employed by paranormal researchers to capture evidence of psychic phenomena. Through case studies of local investigations, the study assesses the effectiveness of these technologies in validating paranormal claims and enhancing the credibility of research in parapsychology. The findings indicate that while technology can provide valuable insights, it also presents challenges related to interpretation and skepticism. The study advocates for a balanced approach to paranormal research that respects both technological advancements and traditional methods of inquiry. By documenting the experiences of South African paranormal investigators, this research contributes to the evolving dialogue on the role of technology in the study of psychic phenomena.
