Abstract
The objective of the work is to prepare a proposal for methodological guidelines to develop knowledge management in the Provincial Meteorological Center of Cienfuegos. Several techniques and methods were used that contributed to the collection and processing of the information obtained, among them the following stand out: surveys, document review, direct observation, the scenario method, the Delphi method and the Saaty method. The methodological guidelines that are proposed are useful to undertake the first stage of organizing knowledge management within the framework of the organization, and they are the product of the application of a process of analysis and synthesis on practical cases in which developing this perspective has been successful. It is also worth highlighting the focus on resources and capabilities developed in the work to prepare the proposal.
