The Role of Strategic Renewal in Promoting Sustainable Development: An analytical Study in Iraqi Ministry of Planning

Abstract

This research seeks to achieve a basic goal, which is to know the role that strategic renewal plays in promoting sustainable development. Expressing strategic renewal through its dimensions (context, content and process) while promoting sustainable development is represented by dimensions (environmental dimension, social dimension and economic dimension) and the importance is highlighted through Shedding light towards the problem of achieving strategic performance to enhance public sector organizations, and strategic renewal is the most important axis in developing the lives of organizations today, and a questionnaire was designed to collect the necessary data, and an intentional sample was selected represented by the senior leaders in the Ministry of Planning, and the study sample was 176, and the research used a group Among the means of descriptive and inferential statistics, the use of a set of tests to test the hypotheses of correlation and regression analysis. Among the most prominent conclusions reached by the research is that strategic renewal plays a direct and influential role in strengthening and promoting sustainable development.
