Abstract
In this article, we have tried to understand the evolution of strategic human resources management in small and medium-sized businesses . The aim of this research is twofold. First, we responded to calls from several authors asking for more HRM studies in SMEs. Second, we have tried to enrich our knowledge of GSRH in a context other than large companies. This research is based on a dynamic analysis using longitudinal data from 388 SMEs over the period 2005-2015. The results show an increase in strategic HR practices and a decline in HR administrative practices. This result is important since it demonstrates that SMEs can also adopt flexible HRM practices.
